CLASSIC

CLASSIC     YA-850     YA-960     BASIC     STANDARD

Our Vault Doors combine the ultimate in security with the beauty of contemporary styling.

Truly the international standard for security and design.

Stainless Steel Finish

All exposed metal surfaces are finished in gleaming stainless steel including the massive full length locking bar, door edges and jamb area creating a totally maintenance free door.  Classic's adjustable door hinges have precision anti-friction tapered bearings balancing the door so perfectly that it can be opened and closed with the touch of a finger.

Wide Clear Opening

The large 36" clear opening and flat sill allow convenient access for people and carts.

Deluxe Daygate Standard

Classic's standard daygate features a stainless steel grid with lock panel to match.  Key operation is used with the stainless steel bar style daygate.

Optional Architrave Panels

The extra wide stainless steel architrave with Classic style doors virtually eliminate the need for additional architrave panels.  Should a wider look be desired, stainless steel architrave panels are available.

Underwriters Laboratory Testing Procedure [ Actual test photo 1 2 3 4 ]

  1. Skilled UL technicians attempt to penetrate door hinge area using "lance" technique.
  2. UL engineers attack door with electric impact hammers.
  3. UL technicians attack jamb area with acetylene torch & fluxing rod creating intense heat.
  4. After 2 hours (actual attack time) only stainless steel cover & trim panel are destroyed on CLASS III door.  UL's most skilled engineers were unable to penetrate the classic vault door.

Locking System

The decorative operating wheel activates the full length locking bar, assuring total top to bottom contact with the doors locking jamb.  The DELTA* locking system virtually eliminates potential "lock out" due to combination lock failure.  Classic vault doors are the nations first to introduce this important security feature.

Day Guard Lock

When activated, a daytime safety detent lock secures the locking bar in an open position and is designed to prevent locking personnel inside the vault under holdup conditions.

Built In Ventilator

The Classic emergency ventilator is built into the vault door frame, eliminating the need for space consuming wall ventilator installation.  Classic vault doors conceal the emergency ventilator behind the hinge cover, eliminating unsightly ventilator holes, apparent in all other vault doors.

Additional Security

Classic's built-in stainless steel contact micro switch is located in the door frame to effect an alarm contact when the door is closed and the massive bar lock is engaged.  This additional security feature prevents bank personnel from closing the door without locking the bar lock system.  It also eliminates the need for external magnetic contact switches and unsightly wires characteristic with old fashioned door/alarm hook ups.

Time Lock

Underwriters laboratory (UL) listed 3 movement time locks are concealed behind the flush panel on the back of each Classic door.  Magnifying lenses cover each movement for easy viewing.
