INTRODUCTION

 YA-305-ND is an envelope and bag depository

The model YA-305ND comes standard with capabilities for envelope and bag deposits.  A single door provides customer access for both envelope and bag operations.  The envelope opening can be accessed without the use of a key.  The bag opening is accessed only with a key.

The large capacity bag deposit compartment is exposed only when the required key has operated the lock in the depository frame.  Twenty-five of these keys are supplied with the YA-305ND is also available with bag only operation and requires a key with each use.

UL Security tested

The YA-305ND depository bears the Underwriters Laboratories label and has passed the UL tests involving attack by mechanical tools and the use of sophisticated fishing and trapping techniques.  And, of course it meets all the provisions of the Bank Protection Act

• Manually operated UL listed night depository meets and exceeds UL standard 771 for after hours deposits of envelopes and currency when properly installed with UL listed chest and alarm protection.

• Exterior depository face finished in high grade, polished stainless steel.  Minimum maintenance is required to retain its appearance.

• Bag opening secured by heavy duty, corrugated, pin tumbler lock.

• Unique receptacle design insures positive movement of deposit into receiving safe.

• Contemporary styling includes a recessed door.  This provides a handy writing surface for the customer.

• The exterior face and the deposit compartment is illuminated at al times by a lighting unit build into the frame of the depository.  This unit is protected against tampering, and is readily accessible for replacement.

• Convenient, weather-protected forms compartment.

• An alarm contact switch is incorporated into the design for easy attachment to alarm systems.  This contact will be activated if forced removal is attempted.

• Designed for either walk-up or drive-up installation.

• Compatible with ATM activation for receipt and photo ID.

ND-1000

Our Depositories are U.L. listed for forcible entry and come with a ¼" housing. Our high security, high volume depository, the ND-1000 has withstood not only the U.L. small tool attack, but also an complete battery of "real life" attacks. These include pneumatic jack drawer attack and a 1 ½ ton truck attack. The drawer attack includes attempting to penetrate the wall between the depository and the receiving chest. After several tests, each conducted with slightly different techniques, the ND-1000 never failed. The second more severe test simulates a common attack in which a truck is used to remove the depository completely from the receiving chest. A 20 foot long, ¾" link diameter chain was connected from the deposit drawer to a 1 ½ ton truck. The truck then backed up to the head and accelerated 20 feet, popping the chain tight. After several attempts, the drawer was still intact. The ND-1000 has a proven track record and is the depository of choice in critical areas like New York City and Miami. Would-be attackers actually avoid the ND-1000 because of its reputation.
