Proximity
Readers
Using
advanced surface mount technology manufacturing techniques, the
Proximity reader offer high reliability, consistent read range
characteristics and low power consumption in a single easy to
install package. The reader head consists of a single chip
microprocessor which decodes the signal from the card and transmits
it to the access control panel.
VeriFlex
- Fingerprint Verification
Add
biometric security to your installed readers. The VeriFlex is a
strong user authentication solution for forward thinking
organizations who require heightened security. Fingerprint
verification can be added to any reader that is capable of providing
Wiegand communication in an industry standard format. Organizations
with keypads, bar code readers, and proximity card readers can now
add fingerprint verification to their existing systems without
replacing the existing reader infrastructure.
Electric strikes and magnetic locking
systems are becoming the standard for commercial applications. The
key to selecting which format will work best is to first determine
the primary function of the lock. If the principle goal of the
installation is to keep people from entering a premise while making
exit simple, then electric strikes are the way to proceed. If
limiting both access in and egress out of an area is of chief
concern, magnetic locks should be considered.

Photo-ID
badger allows you to create master badge formats and print
badges (cards) based on the cardholder data in your PassPoint
Database. Badging
is included in the PassPoint Plus Package. All of this, plus the
many other functional features makes this one of the most powerful
systems on the market today. Note that to use this feature to
print cards, you must have a compatible card printer.
